I can’t even log into it. MyELD was installed a week ago. It functions fine. Everything is connected properly. My driver profile was set up throughZonar. However I can’t login to the device in the truck. I’m currently in hold withZonar help desk for the third time. I’ve currently been on hold for 53 minutes. This company is a joke. Use any other ELD. Stay away from this over priced useless garbage.

Do you mind I ask how much for the Tablet or the whole system?

We have six units and paid a total of $1200 at setup and $288 per month. Of that monthly charge, the service package that we have is $26 per month per unit and the lease/purchase price of the tablet and GPS is $22 per month (for 3 years).

We’ve been using Zonar Connect as an AOBRD (we’re told that the units have the capability to switch to ELDs with a phone call) in six of our trucks since November 2017. The Connect Tablet and V3 GPS unit seem very sturdy and well made but the support necessary to make this a great ELD doesn’t yet exist. It’s obvious to us that Zonar is a telematics and tracking company that just happens to also have AOBRDs/ELDs for sale. The telematics and tracking are intuitive to use and well supported with FAQs, directions, and online training. We weren’t looking for those capabilities but have found them very useful are considering installing them in our other vehicles that don’t require ELDs.The logging capabilities, however, are another story. There’s little to no training for logging related topics available online, online manuals and FAQ provide only the most basic information, and we’ve found assistance by phone or email difficult to obtain.

We’re hopeful that over time (we’ve got a three year lease on the units) Zonar will improve their supporting services and training for the logging functions to the level provided for their telematics. If they do, they’ll have a five star product. But for now, customers are largely left to figure things out for themselves.
