Transflo is an authorized Geotab reseller, and it’s next-generation ELD T7 is a registered electronic logging device with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). In a matter of minutes, you can plug it in and activate it.

The solution is available with your choice of monthly service plans. The Standard ELD plan allows you to manage hours of service (HOS), driver vehicle inspection reports (DVIR), and data for IFTA reporting. The Fleet Telematics plan includes all of the Standard ELD plan features plus complete fleet management capabilities like engine diagnostics, GPS-mapping, accident reconstruction, violation notifications, and more. Both plans cover the 48 continental U.S. states and all 10 Canadian provinces included in the IFTA jurisdictions.

The device is available on Apple iOS and Google Android systems and includes an installation harness, available in 6-pin, 9-pin, or 16-pin configurations at no extra charge. The Transflo ELD T7 also includes a cellular chip that automatically transmits data, avoiding hassle of device “pairing” or Bluetooth “bridging,” which can drain your battery and make your phone hot.

    If your a team DO NOT USE! When trying to use there app and g tab eld as a team it won’t work. When called there is a solution only one driver can be attached to unit the other driver can’t use sleeper berth but be off duty only..when we explained one of us has to sleeper they don’t care that it is illegal we were told just do it, thats how the program is written.

    Good day. So, my 1st day of using transflo eld and their customer service, let’s say is near the worst I’ve ever dealt with! VDO rd log had better svc and theirs was FREE! Until they closed down. I’ve called transflo 19xs just since 10am and I have to leave a VM. And wait! For a return call. Unacceptable…these issues are time sensitive. I vant have a trk setting on the scale or rd side until teansflo gets the time to return my call. Most AGGRAVATING ISSUE. Transflo needs to get their head out of their asses n do their kob correctly. They want the money but piss poor customer svc. The DOT don’t wait on no one. So. Get it together Transflo!!!

    This eld is totally messed up! You have to log in every day, support will not respond on the email port, password works on one part of of the eld and not on others.Waste of money! Will be going back to my old eld , it has been great for 5 years.

    Don’t waste your time the whole experience was a joke .. you spend this money and hear that’s supposed to be a simple process that just plug it in and go. except while I’m registering it it’s telling me that my account has expired. then when I call customer Care customer service which is a bunch of bull they act like I’m inconveniencing them and this is after I pay the $30 a month for my service. Nnobody who works for this company really seems to give a shit about the trouble it’s causing you are not being able to work or drive. I wish we would have looked at these reviews before we bought in service!! Two thumbs way down… From start to and which I don’t even see in the foreseeable future this ever getting resolved has been hell! I gave one star because I didn’t want it to seem like I didn’t bother and I don’t like to be ruder than necessary.

    What a joke this device is, poor customer service as well! I never got to use the device and am awaiting a refund, always glitches out and never accurate, doesn’t matter how many times you call they always give you the run around and never fix the issue! I’ve had the error vehicle not supported and not been able to use it after I paid $200 for this, I emailed and have yet to hear back. These people are scammers buyers beware

    Company to keep trucking or and installed TransFlo because it’s cheaper. Lost all the user manuals and ELD cards, so we are all technically running illegal. App continually freezes, it also logs the same duty status multiple times making it confusing to review. I’d rather use ANY other elog app or paper.

    I have small fleet of 3 OTR trucks, and I was looking for a ELD system that has it’s own cellular/data connection, so it doesn’t relay on a tablet or a phone. If your driver has problem with a tablet or turns it off, you will be able to see where your truck is. I purchase Transflo ELD in October 2017. It is a good reliable system with too many futures, a lot of them I never used. I don’t like to have a long term contract that Transflo requires and paying $30/mo.

    I own a company and I have nothing good to say about Transflo, the devise is not user friendly at all, the drivers hate it, Jan. 11, 2019 I had a unit stolen and as always Transflo never answers their phone, it was an emergency and no answer, no call back no nothing, when we need to ask a question there are times the drivers do not get a call back for two or three days, they are no damn good, do not get sucked in by these useless buggers that have zero customer service,

      Esta compañía es lo peor de todo no atienden el phone estos representantes en español solo se ríen de los clientes uno de ellos es Ángel mande a cancelar el servicio en un mes y dejaron todos mis choferes sin Elog me cerraron la cuenta y nunca mas me respondieron el teléfono cuenta q yo tenía paga por ese mes entero no les recomiendo a nadie esta compañía q no tienen seriedad ninguna ante los clientes ni nadie en general

      connected transglo t7 up download app rehistered and its like its not communicating all the 3 lights are on but it. Say no cummunication does it connect via Bluetooth to amdroid.or works by gpshow to the transflo t7. Cummunicate with your amdroid?

    We have 3 trucks and this system is easy to use when it is working. But it always put you on duty when ur sleeping. It would put my driver thats in vacation on duty for no reason. Number one problem is when you are sleeping, wake up finding yourself on duty and violation for 8 hours. Systembwouldnjust randomly add other drivers on. We will cancel tomorrow and find another company.

    Wow finally I can write something about this shitty software. We have 53 trucks and it is the most troublesome system I’ve ever tried. Im actually losing drivers over it. If they do not fix their products soon, I will dump them. Do not, I repeat, do not use this system, you will loose your sanity. You will turn grey haired or bald within 6 months. Good luck anyone who have this system.

    The Transflo ELD is like the old America Online dialup connection….S L O W to connect, Drops out, Reboots, Logs you out of the system frequently so you have to enter your login info again, and often times, when you log off duty, it will change your duty status back to on duty within 10-20 seconds!!!
    You gotta really watch this sneaky system, it has screwed me over multiple times.
    As for customer service? I agree with everyone else….it sucks!

    I’ve used big road with no problems, rand McNally few problems, transflo constant problems, very slow constantly restarting it. it will change duty status by itself. IT dept claims I’m in bad area must be in bad area 24-7. Takes minimum 5 minutes just to enter pretrip every morning never a day without issues

    Hate! Hate! Hate! I am my dads dispatcher and you have no clue how many times my dad has had to call me to change his logs because they have changed on it’s own. My dad has been in a hotel and put SB before going in and in the morning he gets up and opens the door to find the ELD app has him on On for so many hours! It is crazy changes companies for ELD for sure!

    The slowest system I have ever used. Every time an update is put out the system crashes and leaves thousands of drivers unable to log. Unbelievably unreliable, you never know when it’s going to glitch and you’re going to be unable to log. Joke of a system.

      If you are using you Transflo HOS there is an in-app support feature to connect you directly to a support team member, and it is located at the top of the main menu in the blue header.

      Also, we have many videos and materials available for additional training, here, just follow the prompts.

    Worst ELD ever have used 2 others worked fine. This logged on its own driving and the truck was stopped and did not move. Transflo is a joke.

    I just installed mine yesterday, very easy. Registering it was easy to but be careful check the information for accuracy before you continue each I was playing with it made a call to talk with someone. Got a good answer. Plus I found videos. Monday heading on the road.if it works nice 5 stars and it’s dot week

      Trash. Just got it. Never worked. Says invalid device or that the space to enter device is empty (it’s not) on the scan device screen.junk. waste of money.

      We spoke with our support team, and we are sorry for the confusion around YM logs. Yard Moves count as ON Duty and Personal Use counts as OFF Duty. When the truck is powered down, it will take you out of whichever one you are using (FMCSA required). Keep in mind, turning the truck off stops the exemption. The next time you start the truck watch for a pop-up asking you to go back into PC/YM and proceed.

    Great overall device and they are adding features frequently. I saw that they just added Drivewyze and am considering getting that to avoid the dreaded inspections.

    I give this ELD a 3.5, because it took some getting used to at first but I am sure all elds are the same. I chose Transflo because I used Mobile+ in the past for a different company and liked the app. Yes, I have had some issues with support but they always call me back within a day or so to help me with my problem. I don’t like the mandate, but this ELD gets me by and has some helpful features.

    Customer support is a joke. Transflo sends the 9 prong plug and mist need the 6 prong. They do not respond in a timely manner and I have trucks sitting for several days now. As soon as someone calls me back I will be finding out how to return the ones that I have to get Garmin!!!!!

    I have issues with my device. If a driver forgets to logout you can’t go back to your mistakes. Personal use of the truck automatically logs you in along with yard movement. Hate this system is linked to your phone when app kills your data.

      If you forget to log out, you can go back in to the app and add in an OFF-Duty status at the correct time.

      For Personal Use, this counts as OFF Duty, but Yard Moves count as ON Duty. When the truck is powered down, it will take you out of whichever one you are using (FMCSA required).     Our fleet is using this app with the Transflo ELD. We have not had any issues with the devices and the drivers say the app is user friendly. Honestly the reason I chose to keep using Transflo is because their customer service has never let me down. It is a cost efficient ELD that provides DOT compliance with a desktop portal to keep track of hours and tracking of our drivers. We look to keep using Transflo as our fleet expands.
